C B Electrical Services is a sole trader business run by Chris Bulman, based at Front Street, Prudhoe, Northumberland, NE42. We are NAPIT Approved and TrustMark registered.

A quote is a fixed price for the work described in it and is valid for 30 days unless we say otherwise. An estimate is our best guess at the likely cost and may change.

If we find something we could not reasonably have known about beforehand, hidden damage, unsafe existing wiring, asbestos, we will stop, explain it and agree any extra cost with you before continuing.

We will carry out the work described in your quote. Anything additional is a variation and will be priced separately and agreed with you first.

Unless stated, our price does not include making good plaster, decorating, flooring or joinery beyond a reasonable standard of repair.

Please make sure we can get safe access to the property and the areas we need to work in, with a power and water supply available. If we cannot start because access has not been arranged, we may charge for the wasted visit.

Payment is due within 14 days of the invoice date unless we have agreed otherwise in writing. Larger jobs such as full rewires may require a deposit or staged payments, which will be set out in the quote.

Certificates are issued once the work is complete and paid for.

Please give us at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or move a booking. Where materials have already been ordered specially for your job, we may charge for those.

If you booked as a consumer away from our business premises, you have 14 days to cancel. If you ask us to start within that period and then cancel, we may charge for work already done.

All electrical work is carried out in line with BS 7671 and self certified through our NAPIT registration where notifiable. Workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months; manufacturer warranties apply to supplied parts.

We are fully insured. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
